The Holy Spirit

Jesus was chit-chatting for what must have been at least an entire day with His disciples on Passover. He foretold His death and what would happen to everyone. He said that when He goes, He will send a counselor to convict our hearts of sin, righteousness, and judgment.

The Holy Spirit will glorify God by revealing what is God's to us so we may know the truth. The Holy Spirit tells everyone who believes what God says. This is how we are all connected. This is why we do not have to collaborate in secret to do stuff.

First off, we are not out to do evil and want everyone to see the glory of God. We do not have to continually talk to each other to stay on the same page like evil does. The left always has to get together to cry and complain, but Christians all know everything is in God's plan, so we do not burn down our communities and kill people we do not like. We are commanded to like everyone.

The Spirit is with me all of the time because I believe. I can choose to listen and let it convict my heart when I am about to make a bad decision or ignore it. One is a path of peace; one is extreme pain.

I personally think Christianity is the coolest club I have ever been in. I do like Alcoholics Anonymous also because we have the same goals. But A.A. leaves the Salvation out of the picture. That whole Higher Power thing.

Can you hear the Holy Spirit talking to you? I love the fact I get messages relayed straight from Jesus, who knows everything God knows, of course. Everything will work out if I do the next right thing.

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for sending us your Spirit to guide us and tell us what you have to say. Help us to keep our hearts clean from the worldly trash that clutters up our thoughts. Thank you for your guidance and protection. I pray this in Jesus' name, Amen.
