I grew up in a time that was unimaginable for some folks today. We used to pick up this thing that was wired to the wall and spin another thing in circles to make phone calls.
We had two ways to communicate in a timely manner. A phone call to a specific location that anyone could answer or walking to the suspected location the target person is at.
With our new devices today I am afraid many think they have a god in their pocket. This is another subject for another time but, we forget to be personal nowadays. Giving small tokens of appreciation face to face instead of a text is much better for humanity.
The face of God is all around me. I do not have to walk to His house to see if He is home. I get to see Him every day if I am looking. I see him in the good works others do. I see Him in you. I get to talk to God whenever I want and He always answers. I just sometimes don't listen.
Do you see the face of God around you? It brings me much joy when I see the evidence of God's promises fulfilled. Especially when I see the Holy Spirit working through someone else. I cry in joy almost every time.
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for showing us who you are in everything good around us. I pray that our hearts and minds will remain a blank canvas for you to fill. Thank you for the Holy Spirit that guides us throughout each day. I pray this in Jesus name, Amen.
