Today in Our Daily Bread the passage is from Jeremiah 33:14-16. He was constantly screaming about what was coming, the downfall of Israel. He was a chosen prophet from God.
He told the story of how the savior of the world would come from the branch of David. Along with his other prophecies he was not wrong. He did what God commanded so the words coming from his mouth were facts.
I wish someone would make a movie about all 1500 or so prophecies and how they are all 100% being fulfilled throughout time. The events that fulfilled them and the whole n9ne would look really cool on the big screen.
Every single prophecy up until today has been fulfilled. Why do the lost think the next ones are not going to come to pass? The Bible is our oldest written history. This is proven but highly disputed. The timelines of the stories are the earlies let's say.
The Bible is the only book that does not make the Victors look like saints. Everyone was broken is some way. They were all sinners just like me. It writes about the constant failures of everyone. It does not put them on a pedestal to make sure the following generations have a pretty outlook on the past. No one wrote this book to sell me anything or make themselves look good, except God.
Jesus came and fulfilled the prophecy that means the most to me. He gave us gentiles our membership to accept the grace and gifts of God. Until then it was only the Jews that got to talk to God, now, we all do. We are all branches of Jesus. He is the vine.
Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you for your true word. Thank you for the sacrifice you made to show us true love. Let us grow through you so we may be the light that leads people to the path of righteousness. Help us love everyone we see today and keep our egos aside. Thank you for your signs and wonders all around us. I thank you in Jesus name, Amen.
Thank you everyone being here. I love all you guys. WWJD for Life! 🥰
