"If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you." ~John 15:19
I always wondered why I never fit in. I tried so hard to be accepted by the world. I did the things they asked of me, but I still was looked upon as an outsider. I was rejected on a whim and accepted sometimes for the dumbest things.
Even while in a large group of people I knew, I always felt alone and rejected. I was constantly worried about making sure I toed the line for all of them. I felt that I had to force everything. I had to impose myself in a situation to be noticed. This mostly led to turmoil of some kind.
I reflect back and realize that I was picked by the Holy Spirit at a young age. I was never going to fit in this world. I am a stranger in a strange land. I am just passing through while on a mission.
My life has one purpose: to glorify God and follow His command to love one another and lead them to Christ. I do not have to stand on a street corner on a soapbox preaching, but I do need to try to live like Jesus did.
Do you feel like a stranger on this earth? I always had a disconnect with what Satan was having the rest of the world do even though I tried to participate. I always failed. It was by design. I was a square peg trying to fit into a round hole. God had chosen me, so there was no way He was going to let me prosper in sin.
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for including us in Your club. Thank You for giving us signs that things are not working out when we try the way of the world. Thank You for teaching us through our own experiences that we may share with the lost how we received grace from You freely. I pray this in Jesus' name, Amen.
Thank you everyone for being here. I love all you guys. WWJD For Life! 🥰
