Christmas is of course memorable for many nations all over the world. We all celebrate the day Jesus arrives a bit differently but, our hearts are the same. At least this one day a year makes people think of someone who they might not have thought about since last Christmas. That was me in my past life.
The History of how we all Celebrate has changed and the date is subject to discussion but, that does not matter. We picked a day to recognize the arrival of the Savior of the world.
I can not even imagine what it was like for the Hebrews Jews back then. I mean they expected Jesus to show up and use an army to destroy Rome. I thought that was thinking too small. They were thinking of that day.
All of the prophecies had been fulfilled according to Old Testament scripture. We are told He comes twice. This is all in the Old Testament. The last Prophecy was written 700 years before the birth of Jesus by Micah.
There are dozens upon dozens of passages that tell us exactly what will happen. Our entire history from beginning to end is displayed in the Word of God. Nothing has been wrong in over 3500 years since God chose Abraham. I watched a ton of videos and read the Word. I am not good enough to find them all.
What is on your mind on this day we celebrate the arrival of Christ? I no longer think of getting as much as I think of giving. This has changed since Jesus has moved into my heart.
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for sending your only Son, Jesus, To prove that you do love us. That you wish for us to be like Him. Thank you for sending the Great Teacher so we may model ourselves after Him. I thank you in Jesus name, Amen.
