Blessed Beyond Belief

One verse for today. “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and all these things will be added to you,” Matthew 6:33
Jesus made me many promises. As soon as I accepted him into my heart, I was his. Even when I decided to reject the things of God and chase after the things of the world, I could not leave him if I tried.
I could not recognize the blessings I had when I was living for the world. I was being watched over even in the most evil and perilous times I put myself into. The Holy Spirit was protecting me the entire time, yet I did not see.
I could go on for days about the pain and suffering I went through, but I am here to tell you about the joy and peace I was given as soon as I sought out the Kingdom of God. Reading the Word taught me how to be grateful.
Nothing has really changed in my life. I have always had a place to live for the most part. I always had work and could afford food. The difference is in my heart. I have learned the meaning of gratitude.
Being grateful for what I have is better than wasting my energy on wishing for things that are mostly pointless. The only thing that matters is that I stay safe and fed so I can see to the needs of others. If I am struggling, chasing my tail, I cannot help someone else find theirs.
Are you blessed beyond belief? I could not even imagine this life existed until I stepped into it and could see my prior self from the outside. The happiness I have been given is exactly what I was chasing my entire life.
Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you in thanks for fulfilling your promises to us if we seek your Kingdom. I ask that the Holy Spirit will guide us so others can see our true happiness and make them want what we have. I thank you in Jesus' name, Amen.
Thank you everyone for being here. I love all you guys. WWJD For Life! 🥰
